Privacy Policy

Short version: the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the contact form, and it is used for one thing only, which is replying to you. There is no tracking, no advertising, no analytics and no mailing list.

Who runs this site

JoJo is a small independent studio making hand-printed and hand-painted resin figures, based in Perugia, Italy. The data controller, meaning the person legally responsible for the information described here, is Yousef Cheurfi. For anything to do with your personal information, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to yosicheurfi@gmail.com.

Because the studio operates from Italy, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) applies to how your information is handled, wherever in the world you are writing from.

What we collect

Only the contact form collects anything, and only the fields you fill in yourself:

• Your name and email address, both required, because otherwise there is no way to reply.
• Your phone number, optional, only if you would rather be called than emailed.
• The figure you are asking about, optional.
• Your message.

That is the complete list. There are no accounts on this site, nothing to sign up for, and no hidden fields.

Why we hold it, and for how long

Your enquiry is stored so it can be read and answered, and so there is a record of the conversation if a commission follows. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has deliberately contacted us, and where a commission goes ahead, the performance of that agreement.

Enquiries that do not lead to anything are deleted once they are clearly finished. Where a commission goes ahead, the correspondence is kept for as long as needed to complete it and to meet any Italian bookkeeping obligations that follow. You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any time and we will do it.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Your enquiry is stored on the server that runs this website and is not shared with, sold to or rented out to anyone. We do not send marketing, and being in touch about a figure does not put you on any list.

Two things reach the wider internet simply because of how a web page loads: the site uses Google Fonts for its typefaces, so your browser requests those files from Google and Google sees your IP address in the process. Server logs also record requests, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting, and are overwritten in the normal course of running the server.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no session recording and no heatmaps. A single technical cookie exists for the studio's own admin login, and it is never set for ordinary visitors.

Photographs of commissioned work

Photographs of finished pieces are sometimes posted to the studio's Instagram and TikTok and shown in the gallery on this site. Those photographs are of the figures, not of you, and your name is never attached to a piece without asking you first.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop using it, or object to a particular use;
• send it to you in a portable format.

Email yosicheurfi@gmail.com and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge. If you are not happy with how we respond, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the authority in your own EU country.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and the contact form is intended for people old enough to commission or buy a piece. If you believe a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date at the top.
